FOOD FOR KIDS
CAMPAIGN

There
are one hundred million street
children around the world! And
more than 2,700 in the town of
Kitale Kenya, where many of the
adults have died from AIDS and
related diseases. These
children have no living
relatives and when we met a
two-year-old boy who was being
looked after by his
four-year-old brother, we wept.
One of our major focuses this
year will be raising money to
provide street kids with at
least one nutritious meal a
week. Several schools in the
Kingston, Ontario area have
embraced the idea of fundraising
for their Kenyan brothers and
sisters. Kids helping Kids! If
you are a teacher or parent and
wish to help us raise money
through your school, or to make
a donation to help feed the poor
and hungry street kids in Kenya,

CAPS FOR KIDS CAMPAIGN

Many children
in Kenya have never worn a ball
cap! Difficult to image, isn’t
it? So we want to change that,
at least for a few of them.
Students at Lundy’s Lane
Elementary School in Kingston
are donating ball caps, either
new or clean used ones along
with a toonie to support our
efforts to give some Kenyan kids
a treat! Money will be used to
help feed these kids as well.
We wish to thank Lundy’s Lane
for their continued support for
our kid’s projects in Africa.
Staff and students at Lundy’s
Lane raised more than $1,700
last year for the Happy Feet
Campaign!
Health, Hope and Happiness through HAPPY FEET!

We are very
pleased to share with you that
through the generous donations
of several schools in Kingston &
Area, we were able to provide
foot wear for more than 2,000
children in several schools and
orphanages in Kenya in October
2007! Many African children do
not have shoes to wear and they
are very susceptible to soil
chiggers, a parasite that bites
the soles of their feet, causing
welts, itching and if untreated
can cause serious infection and
pain.
In a lot of ways, preventing
chigger bites is easier than
treating them, thus our desire
to provide footwear for them.
Our sincere appreciation and
from the children in Kenya they

We thank you for allowing our
words and energies to touch
you. You may not want to "send
money to Africa" and we
understand. We do know that you
will be called to be of service
somewhere, somehow in your life.
We support your efforts to not
only be the change you wish to
see, but to choose to do one
thing that makes a difference.
We are all global citizens, part
of the family of humans and we
thank you for daring to change
the world rather than waiting
for the world to change!
