Global Citizens in High Schools across Ontario

Yesterday I had the privilege of speaking to a small group of young teenage women (14-16) about my experiences in Africa and Global Citizens for a New Tomorrow. Their teacher told me there is a new curriculum for grade nine students called Global Citizenship. I was not only surprised by this information but completely delighted.

The experience reminded me that there is a powerful energy on the planet that is demanding a shift in consciousness. Our high school students are developing a growing awareness of belonging to a larger Global Family. Can you imagine the changes they will make as they become the leaders of the new world?

Changes

Feeling restless, anxious, irritable, tired, there is too much energy in your body and no matter what you do, you can’t get rid of it, finding yourself in arguments, being critical of others and wanting to cry or yell?   Don’t worry, you are not alone.  It is not just the power of the full moon! This is a time of vulnerability and exposure and most of us are not comfortable with coming out of hiding. It is time folks. The writing is on the wall (isn’t that another song?).

There is no turning back. We have said “we are ready” and our spirits believed us! So hang in there. Breathe, center, ground and don’t give up on yourself or humanity.

We are riding the wave of yet another cosmic energy. Remember that each wave builds on the other and gets stronger. Our resistance is surfacing and it is yet another opportunity to clear out the old cellular emotional, mental and spiritual crap we’ve been carrying.

This is not the time to cave into the familiar. The fear of the unknown is strong in all of us. We have participated in this ascension experiment four other times and each time we failed! No wonder as we move forward, we also want to run backward. We do not know that we can be successful. We are riding on deep trust and faith that this time will be different.

By supporting each other and reminding ourselves that we are part of a large planetary group who are in the process of taking responsibility for creating a new world of peace, love, abundance and joy for all, we ensure we will never walk alone (okay, okay…enough of the song references already!).

Keep the faith. This Sunday, let’s focus on breathing into our resistance and letting it all go.

You can wait on the world to change or you can change the world.
