Do you forget to ‘ASK?’
A few days ago, I was sharing a dream experience with a friend. On numerous occasions within the past year I have had dreams about one of my childhood friends, Peter. He also appears to me while I am awake and it seems the more stressed I feel, the more I think or see him. Peter died 6 years ago. We were childhood friends, his family moved when he was 14 and I did not know him as an adult.
My friend turned to me and said, ‘Have you tuned- in, maybe he is trying to give you a message.” Wow, what a concept! It is so easy for me to tune-in to others when they ask me for help, but I forget to do it for myself. Needless to say, I tuned-in and got an answer, which posed another question, and tuning-in once more gave me clarity on several issues.
Apparently I am not alone. Many friends have shared similar experiences. We seem to forget about "tuning-in" for ourselves. It seems so easy to forget and depend on others to help us find answers. Are we lazy? No, I don’t think so, but I do feel I often don’t trust my own ability or comprehend how powerful I am. It seems much easier to ask another and trust what they tell me. Do any of you resonate with this? Are we giving our power to someone else? Are we afraid of what we might discover? Will the answer be too much to comprehend? Are we being interfered with?
Perhaps we should tune-in and find out! I look forward to meeting with you on Sunday morning.
